But of course.
I'm sitting here wanting an epiphany, and I get one. Of course.
I've been wanting to write the history of the Hunt. I think it would be great fun to write Gabriel as a villain, and to chronicle the binding and what happened before and after it was created.
And then I thought to myself... Here, in Fire and Water, I have someone from the Hunt's past show up. Two Hounds die... There is a mystery... Gabriel's on edge and so are his Hounds... What if I wrote the past in Fire and Water? What if I intersperced past and present chapters for the entire book?
I did that once, with Sid and Peterson's and really liked it. It was fun. I really really enjoyed doing it. I think I would enjoy doing it again.
The only problem? The 'past' is set in 1902. Our world, kind of. I'm going to have to do some research, but I really really want to do this... Hmm.
