Oh boy. Oh boy. Ohhhhh boy.
When I started this book, I never expected to get this far. I had a really tiny grain of an idea, and I decided to run with it and utilize the skills I've learned in the past couple of years. Pacing was one of them; something I had no experience with before, really, even through 20+ novels. I think I've learned that lesson well.
The end of Fire and Water is shaping up in my mind. The scene I envisioned is definitely going to be part of it, but I'm not quite sure how my characters get from where they are now to where they will need to be. But time will tell, and I have faith that the story will work itself out.
Interestingly enough, the ending I saw fits in very neatly to the beginning of Scarecrows, the next book in the series. I'm hesitant to start Book 3 without having sold books 1 and 2, though, so I think I might wait on that one and finish something else (Like The Ninth Guest!) But anyway, I should eat breakfast, but I don't want to stop. Hmm.
Maybe I can eat breakfast in front of the computer this morning...
